NeighbourLink Parkland provides opportunities to serve and help our community making lives richer.

FAQ

You don't have much time?

Only say yes to a request that works for you.  Many of our volunteers only volunteer once every few months.

How is my privacy protected?

All client calls go directly to the NeighbourLink Parkland office.  A volunteer's phone number or address is never given to a client.

If you have the need to contact a client by phone; dial *67, wait for a clear dial tone before dialing a client's phone number.  This blocks your number on call display.

How do I become a volunteer?

Contact Neighbourlink Parkland @ 780-960-9669.  You will be asked to fill out a criminal records check, reference form and availability form.

          DRIVERS/RIDES

Mobility is critical to the quality of life, health and wellness of a community. The challenge is meeting the special transportation needs of the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County Community.  Difficulty traveling alone or staying alone at a destination pose specific challenges in meeting the needs to providing assisted transportation. Rides are provided when all other means have been exhausted.

Neighbourlink Parkland is looking for drivers.  Please contact 780-960-9669 for more information.

Thank you very much for considering making a donation of household furniture.  We greatly appreciate your generosity and good will because we cannot exist without you.

Please call NeighbourLink Parkland at 780-960-9669 to discuss your donation and arrange a time for you to drop your donation off at our office or at our storage facility in Spruce Grove.

Even though your donation may be in perfect condition and no matter how much we would love to accept it, at times our storage facility is full and we do not have the extra space.  When this happens, we would be more than happy to direct you to other agencies within Parkland County that accept quality donations.

Your generosity helps us to serve families in our community.
